I am currently recruiting for a Demand & Supply Planner to work for an FMCG client based in Merseyside. You will be responsible for Demand & Supply Chain Planning across key business functions (75% Demand and 25% Supply Planning (approx.) ensuring that demand and supply plans are communicated to stake holders along with managing the finished goods planning process.

**Demand & Supply Planner Responsibilities**:

- Engage all Supply Chain and Commercial functions to mitigate service issues and SKU risk management
- Provide strong internal stakeholder engagement across Operations, Commercial and wider business delivering strong Customer Service across all portfolio of SKU’s.
- Drive engagement with stakeholders to resolve and improve forecast accuracy measurements.
- Provide clear expectations and communicate all discrepancies building engagement and collaboration
- Manage forecast accuracy data to identify, report and act upon areas for improvement; enabling reduced stock obsolescence, improved stock availability and improved financial reporting.
- To use, develop and maintain the demand planning tools and supporting software.
- Ensuring the demand planning and supply chain tools and systems (spreadsheets and software) are fit for purpose and if not the case, highlighting or escalating issues as appropriate to enable resolution.
- In line with all other functions ensure the base level of 98.5% is achieved and exceeded.
- Manage suppressed, excessive, launch and end of life forecasts with external and internal stakeholders, supporting stakeholders with inventory management tasks and reporting.
- Develop and maintain SKU and category data to enable multi-level forecasting and reporting.
- To support the Demand Manager as required in completing the demand planning elements of the S & OP process

To be considered for this role you must have excellent stakeholder management skills and have a good understanding of production scheduling, distribution planning and supply chain planning. You must have excellent data analysis skills along with problem solving and presenting ability. You will also have a strong understanding of planning systems such as SAP or similar with strong Excel skills are essential.
