Head of Internal Communications

**About The Role**: As our Head of Internal Communications, you will work closely with our Director of People to create and execute a meaningful, high impact and deeply human communications strategy that will bring alive our culture in the hearts and minds of our HC-One colleagues. You are creative, engaging and purposeful in all you do and most important of all, our identity as the Kind Care Company resonates deeply within you.

Working with whoever you need to within HC-One, you will translate our strategic activity into meaningful messages through the power of storytelling, anchoring each message to the needs of your audience. This involves being able to digest and understand specialist information from across multiple disciplines (often at pace) and land it with meaning, just when it is needed.

You will work tightly with our External Affairs and Marketing Colleagues, consistently connecting all communication on key themes. You will also manage our internal communication response to crisis situations. You can think on your feet and move fast.

Think of yourself as the ‘Editor in Chief’, overseeing the creation of high impact content, with just a really empathic tone of voice and unity of messaging across all channels. You will explore new ways to engage with our 19,000 colleagues nationwide, with a naturally collaborate, silo melting mentality.

You’ll have your hands full managing HC-One’s Intranet and ensuring all our internal communication platforms are fit for purpose, accessible and user friendly. You understand social media channels and have a strong opinion about how we can use them to enhance human connection.

**About You**: Your Professional qualification(s) are indicative of your passions and we do expect you to hold a degree in a relevant discipline. Much more important is your humanity, your attitude to managing change through people and your extensive experience of using multiple communication channels to improve our colleague engagement and advocacy.
