Slim’s Place, a long-established name in the hydroponics industry, is seeking a Hydroponics Retail & Warehouse Specialist to join our expert team in Watford. If you live and breathe all things grow-related—from deep water culture to coco coir, from automated irrigation to post-harvest techniques—we want to hear from you.

**The Role**

You'll be working in both our retail store and warehouse, supporting customers, managing stock, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your technical expertise and hands-on experience will be key in advising growers at all levels.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide expert advice and product recommendations to customers
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and organise warehouse stock
- Assist with product demos and displays
- Stay up-to-date with new products and industry trends
- Contribute to the overall success of the store through teamwork and initiative

**What We’re Looking For**
- In-depth knowledge of hydroponic systems, substrates, nutrients, lighting, environmental control, and post-harvest processes
- Previous hands-on growing experience (commercial or personal)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit - able to lift and move stock as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Previous retail or warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- A full UK driving licence is preferable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
