**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Investigations Officer to join the University. You will be responsible for investigating a range of student conduct issues within the University with an expected focus on harassment cases.

This role will involve working closely with students, providing advice to staff, conducting interviews, gathering necessary information, and producing detailed investigation reports that summarise the facts and outcomes under the Student Disciplinary Procedure.

Ideally qualified to degree level or with relevant professional experience, you will have recent experience in conducting investigations into allegations of misconduct such as harassment and sexual misconduct. You will have a knowledge of the complexities of harassment, sexual violence, and gender-based violence, and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills. You will need to be able to work independently with a high level of personal resilience and the ability to prioritise your work and meet set deadlines.

You will join a team passionate about the contribution they make to the wider University community, supporting students and staff to build a positive student experience through robust and fair investigations and the development of the University’s procedures.

To be successful in this role you will need a degree and appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role or be Part qualified in a relevant professional qualification appropriate to the specific role being appointed to and appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role.
