HR Advisor

The A.W. Jenkinson group of companies is involved primarily in the processing, handling, transport and distribution of wood products and operates throughout the UK. The group is supported by the fleet of A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd ensuring the collection of materials and the delivery of our products is efficient and cost-effective.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join A.W. Jenkinson as a HR Advisor within the HR team.

The role would suit a HR generalist who enjoys a variety of different tasks. Duties will include helping with all aspects of HR including recruitment, training, maintenance and development of company policies and procedures, overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications. The role involves communicating with stakeholders of all levels and does include a high level of ER casework. You’ll join a small, friendly HR team who support each other and work closely together.

HR support is provided to all of the A.W. Jenkinson Group.

The position is likely to be full-time though we can be reasonably flexible with regard to the working day. The position is based at our Head Office in Clifton just outside Penrith, though some travel may be required and a full driving licence is essential.
