A pre-registration optometrist delivers eye examinations, dispenses spectacles, contact lens services and may be involved in triage processes to a consistently high clinical and customer focused standard, which in turn drives sales, profit and customer loyalty.
Under the guidance of a registered supervisor, trainees should take responsibility for their own personal training and development as required by the College of Optometrists’ Scheme for Registration.
