**R&D Tax Semi-Senior - Based from home - ideally in the Bristol area.**

Are you an experienced R&D Tax Assistant looking for a new career where you can progress rapidly?

Working closely with the R&D Specialist and Partners, this role is a pivotal part of the team and company. You can be based from home or from any Bristol, South West/East, London or Portsmouth TC offices. The role will involve travelling to other TC offices (mainly Bristol / Portsmouth) or client workplaces for meetings when required.

Key responsibilities will include:

- research and development tax claim preparation
- preparing R&D reports for submission to HMRC
- delivering exceptional client service
- preparing supporting R&D calculations
- liaising with HMRC, clients and third parties when needed
- answering day to day queries
- supporting Partner with ad hoc projects
- 18 months - 2 years tax experience working in an accountancy firm
- a minimum of 1 year R&D tax experience
- an interest in engineering and/or software is preferable
- accurate data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel and Word including cleansing of large datasets
- ability to work quickly and efficiently to tight deadlines and organise and prioritise own workload
- able to work independently with confident verbal and written communication
- driven with a strong work ethic
- a willingness to work as an integral part of a busy team
- driving licence and car as the role will involve occasional travel to Bristol or Portsmouth offices/client sites when required
A generous remuneration package includes:

- £25,000 - £28,000 + Study Package (ATT / CTA)
