**Job description**

We are looking for experienced RSWs who have had experience working with children who may have social and emotional difficulties as a result of childhood trauma and abuse.

**What we require from a Residential Support Worker**
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Children’s Residential setting
- Passionate about working with children and young people
- Resilience and patience. The ability to manage challenging behaviour for children with social and emotional needs
- The ability to support children with their everyday needs and routines including; emotional support, behaviour support, developing their independent skills, advocating for children, record keeping. In addition to; cooking meals, cleaning the home, washing & ironing.
- Ability to organise and lead activities such as; swimming, cinema, visits to theme parks, arts & crafts, baking, computer games etc.
- Willing to work as part of a team
- Must be able to sleep over and undertake shifts, including evenings and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.60 - 13.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
