**Salary**:£ 20,971 (Living Wage) - £22,500 pro rata
**Hours**:Part time 30 hours per week (flexible working options available)
**Holidays**: 26 days plus Bank holidays (pro-rata)
**Contract type**:Permanent
**Location**:Based from Byron Business Centre, Hucknall with requirement for regular home working.

**Admin Assistant**
HWNN has recently set out its new, ambitious strategy to develop the organisation for greater impact and long-term sustainability, with a transformed approach to how communities are empowered to have a voice.
As an experienced and enthusiastic Admin Assistant you will play an important role as part of the administration team to deliver this new strategy, by effectively supporting the smooth running of HWNN.
**Purpose**
The role of the Admin Assistant is to: o Provide administrative support to the wider functions of
Healthwatch including Business support, Volunteering, Comms, and Community Engagement o Support the office and its practical functions as directed by the
Business Support Manager
**Responsibilities**
**1. Administration for Volunteer Function**
- Data input, electronic filing, collecting and recording of volunteer hours and activities using bespoke Access Database.
- To support the maintenance of accurate, timely and legible volunteer records
- To assist with the ordering and maintenance of volunteer resources o Creation and issue of volunteer I.D Badges
**2. Administration for PR & Comms function**
- Provide administrative support to produce the Healthwatch Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Newsletter and CEO Updates
- Help to maintain the Healthwatch Nottingham &Nottinghamshire website and social media channels, including changes to team information, updating web pages and arranging and sending social media content in collaboration with and as advised by the Comms Officer.
- To support PR and marketing opportunities to increase the awareness and visibility of Healthwatch Nottingham &Nottinghamshire across the region with communities and stakeholders.
**3. Administration for Community Engagement & Projects function**
- To provide admin support for outreach and community engagement activities assisting the Healthwatch team to achieve our objectives and targets o Provide administrative support for community engagement events
- Support data processing functions and sharing of data with Healthwatch England
**4. Administration for Senior Leadership team and Board**
- Support the Business Support Manager in preparation for both internal and external meetings, including papers and liaising with partners on the CEO, Chair and Board’s behalf where necessary o Provide diary management and administrative support to the CEO/Board when required
**5. General Administration**
- To maintain electronic filing systems in line with organisations policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment campaigns.
- Accurately maintain records ensuring data compliance with GDPR standards.
- Administer & manage the petty cash system
- Arrange internal and external meetings and away days
- Ensure first aid box is up to date and appropriately stocked and be the ‘appointed person’ (the first point of contact for other employees regarding first aid provisions)
- Manage allocation/collection of equipment, passes and keys to new/departing staff
**6. General**
- Uphold the values and ethos of HWNN
- Take responsibility for own personal development and take part in reviews, appraisals, team meetings, staff development and away days.
- Work as part of the wider HWNN team and support other colleagues as needs arise
- To adhere to all HWNN policies and procedures, including Safeguarding, GDPR and Health and Safety
- Keep abreast of health and care policy developments and services to ensure your knowledge base is up to date to inform your work o Maintain operating procedures for all key activities.
- Demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work
