Interim Financial Modeller - software / SaaS.
I am recruiting an Interim Financial Modeller for a VC backed software client. You will be tasked with managing an end to end project to model out a range of complex scenarios, the outcomes of these scenarios are essential for decision making purposes (pricing,work force allocation, recruitment etc.) and performance management across the business.
It is therefore essential that you are an intelligent problem solver able to operate effectively in a start up/ scale up environment full of change / ambiguity, possess gravitas and can build complex financial models from scratch.
You must have the gravitas to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders; you will need to know the questions to ask to extract the information that you require from the business upon which you can make key assumptions upon which your modelswill be based.
You must have a high level of proficiency in financial modelling, experience of working with financial models to assess a range of business decisions, a sound understanding of financial statements and financial issues and the ability to work with a highdegree of autonomy
You must be able to communicate technical issues in a concise and simple way to non-experts, both verbally and in writing, manage your own workload, prioritise tasks appropriately and report any emerging issues upwards in a timely manner.
You must be available immediately / at short notice.
This is a hybrid role - I anticipate that you will be expected to visit their Central London office once every two weeks.
