SQL Administrator sought to join the IT team for a multi-national eCommerce company based in Redditch. As a Database Administrator, you'll be primarily focused on the company's SQL Server Databases and platform, managing the production environment, and carrying out project and design work.

**Other responsibilities include;**
- Design and Implementation of new SQL Servers
- Maintaining and MS SQL databases, including backups & performance and DR testing
- Ensuring that changes to Databases and SQL services align with operational and strategic

plans.
- Supporting the BI and Development Teams using SSRS / SSIS
- Supports the Group Infrastructure & Operations Manager with the development of technology

roadmaps for all database systems.
- Keeping up-to-date with development and new technologies and practices, identifying and

championing those most suitable to the firm's goals
- Maintaining high performance and designing SQL database solutions for high availability

- Working with other members of the Infrastructure team on occasional Windows Server /

Virtualisation issues

**Your Skills & Experience should include;**
- Design/development of Databases and Data Warehouses using Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of SSRS / SSIS
- Knowledge of SQL Databases
