Alongside new Citroen and Peugeot sales we keep over 250 multi make used cars in stock too.

This job isn't for the feint hearted. As a trainee you will be expected to be very hands on. The job role will include:

- Photographing retail vehicles, cropping and then uploading to Autotrader
- Photographing trade vehicles and uploading to eBay
- Listing trade vehicles on eBay
- Helping with trade buyers collecting their auction purchases
- Ensuring the forecourt is kept smart and tidy
- Driving between our 3 sites to move vehicles
- Shadowing retail sales specialists to learn the business

As a Penton Retail Sales Trainee you will be expected to meet these qualities:

- I have a positive attitude, am willing to learn and open to feedback.
- I have my own Pinnacle diary and manage my week with input from my sales
manager.
- I am undergoing manufacturer training and completing modules in the required timeframe.
- I am accredited with Automotive Compliance and SAF.
- I can handle telephone enquiries and book appointments.
- I perform my share of the site work including photo’s, pricing and movements.
- I can competently use the Penton Profile and appraise part exchanges.
- I check in vehicles and load them to the valet system.
- I complete trade forms for my part exchanges and help with trade collections.
- I can raise order forms and manage customers through a process with the
assistance of my manager or colleagues.
- If offered a company car I will keep it clean, tidy and charged / fuelled at all times.

Basic Salary = £20,000 Per Annum

Work Schedule and Holidays
- Sales Staff work Monday to Friday with one day off in the week
- Sales Staff work every Saturday, with one Saturday off per month to be booked with your sales manager
- Sales Staff work Sundays on rotation
- Retail Sales Trainees benefit from 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays (to worked on rotation and booked with your sales manager)

Hours are 8:30 to 6pm weekdays. 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Poole, BH15 2AL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
