Team Leader for The Prince’s Trust at Nottingham

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, proactive team? We are pleased to be recruiting for a Team Leader for the Prince’s Trust to join the Wellbeing Team. The post is a brand new position, so we are looking for someone excited, motivated and can use initiative to drive and build this position.
Primary duties include:
- To contribute to excellent and innovative delivery of the Prince’s Trust to promote learning and progression.
- Develop, plan and facilitate the princes trust programme and undertake marking, support portfolio building and provide feedback to students.
- Deliver the princes trust programme in a variety of settings including 1:1, small groups. typically 12-15 students aged sixteen to twenty-five who are not in full-time education, employment or training.
- Design, plan, produce and adapt to learner needs a range of differentiated, effective and engaging teaching, learning and assessment materials and activities that build on existing practices, motivate students, and take account of all aspects of personal development, behaviours, and attitudes of the prince’s trust programme under the college.
- Undertake the co-ordination for a given location in conjunction with the Behaviour Lead, to support students’ achievement and undertake quality related activities as required.
- Ensure that delivery promotes a learning environment where diversity of ideas and contributions are welcomed.
- Contextualise resource to be relevant for the prince’s trust and the age of the student.
- Ensure that there is accurate recording of delivery and student participation.
- To participate in or lead trips and visits ensuring all necessary preparation and documents are in place as required by the policy prior to the start of the trip or visit.
