**Position: Volunteer Events assistant.**

Location: Eastbourne (remote work may be considered)

Type: Volunteer

**Responsibilities**:
As a Volunteer Events Assistant, you will play a key role in planning and executing our annual fundraising walk, run, and cycle event which takes place on the 5th of August. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with the Events Team to develop event goals, strategies, and timelines.

Assisting in securing event sponsors, partners, and in-kind donations.

Helping to coordinate event logistics

Promoting the event through various channels, such as social media, newsletters, and local community networks.

Working with other volunteers to plan event day activities.

Managing participant registration, inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.

Collaborating with the Marketing Team to create engaging event materials and campaigns.

Assisting in post-event activities, including data analysis, evaluation, and donor stewardship.

**Requirements**:

- Passion for women's empowerment and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under pressure.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in event planning or fundraising is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
