The Growth Company’s (GC) Restart Team have an opportunity for an Employment Tutor to deliver a range of high-quality training services for unemployed people and contribute to individuals’ progression into employment. The Customers will include Adults aged 18+, colleagues within The Growth Company and Training Accreditation Providers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop materials and training courses designed to progress customers into employment.
- Establish and deliver both group and one-to-one activities as part of client interventions including initial assessments and inductions with clients.
- Deliver a wide range of training courses in groups and one to one intervention’s including but not exclusively: basic IT, effective job search, job clubs, confidence and motivation, telephone techniques, transferable skills, hidden job market, barriers to employment.
- Seek ways to continuously improve service and own performance and report to Manager on this.
- Carry out associated Administration work including report writing, updating internal systems, collecting and analysing management information, evaluating service delivery and audit and review of records.

**About You**:

- Experience of working with long-term unemployed customers.
- A warm, approachable style to delivery is required in order to build relationships and rapport with customers.
- A flexible approach to location and courses delivered.

**Requirements**:

- PGCE qualification or equivalent.
- Additional qualification in ESOL/Learners with Additional needs/Numeracy & Literacy.
- Recent experience of delivering training to customers with a wide range of needs and barriers.
- Capability to deliver a wide range of training solutions for all GC.
- Can effectively Communicate and build networks.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Well-developed IT skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £28,000.00 per year
