**Job Description and Key Duties**:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
**Stores**
- To manage and coordinate the warehouse department.
- Ensuring all Equipment Request Forms are reviewed and distributed within the department.
- Ensuring all equipment has the correct certification prior to shipment.
- Co-ordinate third party inspection as dictated by client requirements.
- Check that all CCU’s are certified and are fit for its intended use and duration.
- All CST’s and booking forms are provided to the client in a timely manner to ensure they make the requested sailing.
- Ensuring that all incoming containers are unpacked expediently and all contents are checked, inspected and returned to supplier where relevant.
- Identifying where project equipment is missing or damaged.
- Liaising with the operations team regarding damaged / missing equipment.
- Implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from point of origin to the warehouse.
- Reviewing and implementing new technology to improve processes.
- Developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and stock located in the company, and at sites.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of all company equipment/assets.
- Inventory control - oversee the goods receipt process (PO receipt, storage and distribution of goods.)
- Assessing the requirement for additional storage.

**General**
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Responsible for all HSEQ matters relating to activities within the warehouse, including any non-conformances or incidents
- Developing safety guidelines, co-ordinating training, and enforcing protocols.
- Supervising and training of warehouse team.

**Necessary/Desirable Experience/Qualifications/Skills**:

- Extensive knowledge of materials control including management of CoSHH and DGs
- An ability to introduce improvements based on proven knowledge and experience
- The ability to manage, and work as part of a team
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Delivery of safe and efficient warehouse and materials management
- Knowledge of LOLER and LEEA or other trade specific certifications would be advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in materials control
- Direct experience in the utilisation of computerised purchasing and inventory control
- Able to adapt to changing responsibilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organisational skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office systems (Word and Excel minimum)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
