Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner**:
As part of its commitment to provide an outstanding model of Eating Disorder Care & Treatment for the young people and families of Birmingham, the FTB Specialist Eating Disorders Service (SEDS) are seeking to recruit a enthusiastic and committed Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our expanding service.

SEDS is a well-established, dynamic team, committed to delivering quality evidence-based interventions to people with eating disorders, including ARFID

**You must have completed an IAPT training course or be in the process of doing so, with linked professional registration with the relevant professional body following training in order to apply. **Anyone without this qualification will not be considered for interview.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified PWP to work within our existing, innovative Eating Disorder Service as well as support the development of a new, exciting ARFID treatment pathway.

The post holder will provide psychological assessments, individual therapy, family interventions and group work. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the psychological therapies team and MDT colleagues in service provision and development.

SEDS are an established and ambitious community ED mental health team who remain keen to drive forward service improvements through research in our specialist area. We are proud of our commitment to early intervention and our membership of the FREED network. We have strong links with the UoB, Warwick, Kings College London and SLaM. We also work closely with BEAT and the Health Innovation Network in order to co-produce and contribute to ongoing initiatives designed to improve access and enhance ED care and treatment.

As part of this approach, all staff and managers are trained in evidence-based psychological approaches, with a focus on working with communities and systems to provide early intervention, promote hope and support recovery. The postholder will have the opportunity to contribute to these principles.

You will be an inspirational, innovative, high performing individual who is able to make safe and confident decisions around client care, working in close partnership with Young People and their parents, families, support staff and friends and a range of other stakeholders.
