**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning journeys.
- Manage daily activities and routines, ensuring that all children are supervised and engaged at all times.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery setting.
- Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and well-being among children in accordance with regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications**
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to inspire children's learning through play-based activities.
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
