Vehicle Technician
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a car maintenance company based in Salisbury. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician
- Pre-installation check must be completed, and any damage recorded on the job card
- Any company vehicle must be kept clean, tidy, and unmodified condition
- Vehicle check list must be completed and handed to the line manager, accompanied with fuel and private mileage dockets on a weekly basis
- Make sure any defects or damage must be reported to the Manager
- Make sure tools and equipment are checked regularly to ensure the tool kit is complete and in good order
- Ensure job cards are correctly completed and all information is recorded
- Responsible for correct collection and security of all monies until monies is collected and signed by manager
- Maintain a clean workplace and assist with other duties when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a vehicle body shop repair industry
- Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with heavy lifting
- Has a full UK driving licence

- Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 17:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm
- Every other Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm
- 23 days per annum plus bank holidays
- Salary is £25,000 - £28,750 per annum, depending on experience
