Fireplace Installer

We are Fireplaces Direct and we are recruiting

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to add three qualified Fireplace Installers to our thriving business at Fireplaces Direct in Basingstoke.

We are a long-established Basingstoke business entering its 42nd year operating in the Hampshire, Surrey, and the Berkshire area.

We have a very experienced team of installers with a great team spirit who work with both national and local house builders as well interior designers and homeowners.

We are looking for Gas qualified installers as well as HETAS qualified installers who have experience within the fireplace industry who are ideally available to start immediately.

Part time and Contractor Rate options are also available.

**Fireplace Installers - What we need from you**:

- Gas Safe or HETAS Qualification
- Experience of Fireplace Installations is essential. We install limestone, marble and timber fire surrounds as well as altering chambers to suit ‘Hole in Wall’ installations.
- On site experience of high-end stove and contemporary gas fire installations and fireplaces.
- Servicing gas fires previously installed by our company will form part of the job specification.
- Maintenance, repairs, and problem solving.
- A professional, presentable appearance and a keen positive attitude
- Self-motivated, flexible, independent and happy to take and follow instructions
- Manual working and working at heights is involved
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Eligible to work in the UK

We also have an opening for an apprentice installer who will be given full training and who will be put through Gas Safe and HETAS testing once their training has been completed.
