I am a 40 something year old lady who has moved to Chippenham last year. I'm excited to be building a new team of PA / Carers to help me to get the best out of life.

I enjoy nature, crafts and gardening and manage better in a clean organized home. I have long term health conditions that limit my physical abilities, pain levels and energy. I also have Autism/Aspergers. I am a friendly happy person dealing with complex health needs and need a bit of help to live my life the way I choose.

My team of assistants help me with showering (hair washing and washing my back that I can’t reach, I can do the rest), housekeeping, household admin, shopping and hobbies. They understand I have communication needs and help me have choice and to get my voice heard. They support me to sequence tasks and care for myself and my home. They appreciate my health fluctuates and my energy is limited so has to be saved for the good things.

My ideal assistant will;
- Be reliable
- Be kind
- Be competent
- Be flexible
- Have a positive outlook
- Be someone who will promote my independence and choices whilst recognizing my support needs
- Take pride in work
- Help me lead a varied, fulfilling and safe life
- Have good communication skills, verbal and written
- Be able to work without direction
- Problem solver
- Use initiative
- Be confident with basic food prep and household tasks
- Be willing to get stuck in and want to help me make the most of my life
- Enable me in all my daily living and leisure interests
- Basic smartphone / tablet literacy
- Be a car driver with access to car for work
