Video Producer

**About the role**:
Auto Trader UK has changed dramatically over the last decade. Evolving from the UK's favourite used car classified magazine to a 100% digital business with millions of consumers using our mobile app, website, YouTube and social channels every month.

To grow our digital audience and produce informative, entertaining content; we're looking for a Video Producer to join our YouTube team; to expand our production capabilities, develop the quality of our YouTube films, and push our channel to the next level.

The Auto Trader YouTube channel is a hub of industry-leading automotive video content with an engaged online audience. We're passionate about quality, originality, and entertainment. From electric superminis to the fastest supercars, our content has been viewed more than 200 million times. We aim to maintain this momentum and further grow the channel with an emphasis on entertainment and premium quality video production.

As a Video Producer, your core responsibilities will be end-to-end video production, producing a monthly quota of premium automotive video features. You'll work on a variety of projects from the pre-production planning phase to shooting, editing, and delivery. Your projects will span a variety of formats and lengths. You should have good experience completing tasks in a video production workflow, including ideation and research, camera operation, sound recording and editing.

You'll be shooting vehicles alongside notable presenters in various locations, with the creative freedom to produce films in a style in which you and your team feel works. You'll be continuously looking to push the boundaries and create authentic, high-quality engaging content which entertains our existing audience and capture new ones.

**What we're looking for**:

- Broad experience shooting and editing premium automotive content
- Ability to shoot high-quality video content in a fast paced environment
- Strong cinematography skills with experience operating a variety of video and audio equipment, including gimbals, sliders and drones
- Demonstrable post-production skills, including colour grading, sound design, and familiarity with multi-cam timelines
- You'll be adaptable and demonstrate your initiative to push boundaries in challenging situations - reacting to ever-changing circumstances
- Due to the nature of the role, you'll have the flexibility to travel across the UK and worldwide, working flexible hours (occasionally on weekends)
- You must have a full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle (business mileage will be included in the remuneration package)

We're offering a salary between £28,000-£32,000 dependent on experience, and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being. You'll have 28 days holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve. Our Aviva pension scheme offers between 5% to 7% employer contributions depending on the percentage you choose to contribute. We also provide Bupa healthcare cover for all of our employees.
