Equality Focus has a long standing reputation for providing an outstanding service to disabled students in Higher Education and we are looking for experienced study skills tutors to join our team.

We are seeking individuals with experience of working in Higher Education to join us as specialist study skills tutors. We are looking for tutors that can work in central London and specific areas such as Ealing, Greenwich and Kingston.

We are also looking to recruit in the Kent areas as well.

The role involves delivering 1:1 support to students with Specific Learning Differences (such as dyslexia and dyspraxia) and working with them to mitigate the impact of this on their studies. We are looking for tutors who are able to encourage students to become effective independent learners and to help them achieve their academic goals.

**This is a specialist role and all applicants must be suitably qualified and in line with DfE requirements and must already have professional membership with one of the following bodies**:

- Professional Association for Teachers and Assessors (PATOSS)
- British Dyslexia Association (BDA)
- Dyslexia Guild
- The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE)

Tutors are able to join us on either a freelance or payroll basis, the work is flexible and dependent on student referrals.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £40.00 per hour
