**Network and Systems Engineer**
- Salary: up to £70K base depending on experience

A very rare opportunity to work with one of the most well-established global metals trading firms, they have a vast global presence across many countries with long history and heritage right here in London.

**You**

As the sole Network and Systems Engineer, based out of London office, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and maintain server and networking infrastructure across all 14 sites of the Group, which includes 12 offshore. The businessis rapidly expanding, they have a large number of projects, and you will play a key role in helping to implement networking solutions to accommodate.

**Your responsibilities**
- Maintenance of Windows Server environments, Virtual Servers, Microsoft 365, Exchange and Teams administration.
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network platforms.
- Configuration and installation of network devices, services, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose various network problems.
- Monitoring of network performance and ensure system availability and reliability of sites
- Develop and maintain documentation of network infrastructure, network topology, and routing protocols
- International travel might be required up to 4-5 times per year.

**Experience**
- 3+ years' experience in both systems and network engineering
- Strong Windows Server environments, Virtual Servers, Microsoft 365, Exchange & Teams administration.
- Strong experience of implementation and administration of Cisco Routing and Switching product platforms and technologies
- Strong Cisco Meraki configuration experience
- Microsoft and Cisco certification would be preferable
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology
