Housekeeper

Due to expansion, Newbury Manor School are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team We are looking to recruit a part-time Housekeeper to deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensuring that work processes comply with statutory regulations.** Monday to Friday - we are flexible with hours and when those hours are completed (15-37.5 available). We offer a free mini bus service from Frome to the school.

Newbury Manor School is a specialist school for young people aged 7 to 19 who have autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Our tailored approach means we are able to support young people with a wide range of needs, from those who are broadly average in their ability to others, who have more severe learning difficulties.

We provide a total environment where young people are offered safe, secure and predictable surroundings in which they can come to understand their own areas of difficulties and learn skills and techniques in order to overcome them. This ensures that they are able to fulfil their potential socially, academically, physically and spiritually and enable them to rebuild their low self-esteem and self-belief.

The school is located in a beautiful, quiet, rural location in Somerset in a Georgian manor house, which has a range of outbuildings and extensive grounds. **Communication** During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.

**Organisation **As well as supervising the staff team, you’ll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.

**Attentive** No two jobs will be the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important.
