We are looking for a Production Operative to join our team, and either work the day shift, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, or the night shift. 4 nights a week Monday to Thursday (6pm-4:30am), producing reinforcement cages for use in our Precast Concrete Products.

The job role involves assembling and tack welding cages together from pre-prepared components. We are looking for someone who has had some previous experience using MIG welding plants. You will need to have a flexible approach, a teamwork mentality, and be able to always work in a safety conscious way.

- Fully engage in and promote a Safety First culture within the department.

- Manual cutting of steel reinforcement bar.
- Operating and programming in link bender machinery.
- Welding reinforcement cages in preparation for concrete precast piles and beams.
- Operating overhead cranes.
- Driving forklift trucks.
- Operating concrete batching related plant.
- Manual precast production - preparation of moulds, placement of steel components and concrete.
- Mechanical precast production.
- Pre-start plant and equipment checking and recording.
- Operator preventative maintenance.
- Quality control checking & recording, product labelling for accurate traceability.
