**Role**:Lead Trainer

**Location**:London West

**Salary**:£35,000 - £37,000 pa

**Hours**:Full time 37.5 hrs per week, Monday - Friday 08:30am - 16:30pm

Summary of post:
This role sits within the Learning & Skills team, the postholder will be act as an ambassador for learning and develop, deliver, and evaluate skills training to cross-functional teams’ business wide.

This role will ensure content, competency threshold checks and assurance mechanisms for all roles are in place and meet requirements.
The Training Lead will work with Subject Matter Experts, and the Learning team to devise learning tailored for different roles (including specific contract, location, or borough requirements, if appropriate).

**Details of role**:

- Development, implementation, and delivery of training in collaboration with business SME’s and the Learning Team
- Develop materials to support delivery
- Facilitate induction of new colleagues and compliance related training.
- Deliver training (in addition to the above), which will include soft skills, technical skills, customer service, conflict resolution, productivity/lean, people management training such as first line team leader upskill.
- Maintain, organise, coordinate, and administer learner data, records, project documentation, and course information.
- Audit, and conduct threshold compliance checks for role-based training
- Conduct training needs analysis, undertake periodic gap analysis of business units
- Evaluation of learning
- Promotion of learning opportunities, Training Partnership Development (Apprenticeship Levy)
- Submit contract-specific Training Matrix for ratification during Mobilisation
- Other responsibilities in line with the role requirements

**Essential**:

- Experience in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training/learning interventions (various delivery models)
- Adaptable, high level of attention to detail, with a hands-on approach
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve existing or potential problems
- Evidence on delivering outputs on multiple projects, self-management, and planning of a work schedule with a high level of accountability
- Experience collaborating with SMEs in a team environment to develop learning
- Competent using Microsoft Office, including excel
- Willingness to travel

**Desirable**:

- Training qualification/or experience to match
- Assessor qualification
- Exposure to Manufacturing, Logistics, and healthcare sector
