Control Room Operator

We are seeking a Control Room Operator (CCTV) on a full-time basis. Shifts nights only. Shifts are 12 hours, lone working and hours are either 7pm-7am. 4 nights on, 4 nights off.

Duties include:

- Monitor and operate the CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the CCTV Control Room
- Follow protocols for maintaining the security of the CCTV Control Room and its facilities
- Operate a range of remote call monitoring, alarms and communication facilities contained within the Control Room
- Report any incidents that occur immediately to the Police or report to another relevant agency and provide support/commentary to the Police and/or other relevant agency.
- Maintain accurate records of data recordings and events, using incident reporting software.
- Assist the Police in respect of preparation of evidence and other activities associated
- Take occasional calls from emergency services.
- You will be required to possess a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence for CCTV Operators (Public Space Surveillance). Training on our systems will be provided. A criminal record check will be required.
