Legionella Risk Assessor/water Hygiene Engineer

Qualifications & Experience:
Will ideally have completed a Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds.
Experience of carrying out ACOP L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
The applicant must come from a good chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
Previous experience working as a water hygiene engineer.
Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislations.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication skills.
Role:
Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.
Surveying of water systems and supplies in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
Carrying out repair and servicing of TMV's.
Covering various contracts including residential, commercial and industrial properties.
Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans, descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, etc.
Monitoring client's air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
