**Lead Speech and Language Therapist - up to £48,880**

About the role:
In this role, you will take the lead in developing and managing the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) service. Your job will include being part of a team of SLTAs within a culturally diverse in-patient environment.

As part of this position, your primary responsibility will involve delivering excellent assessments and designing care programs in both group and individual contexts. Your approaches will be rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring the highest quality of care. Additionally, you will offer expert clinical guidance to fellow staff members regarding the management and support of individuals with communication challenges.

You will be working in four service types, each catering to specific requirements:

- Specialised Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) service designed exclusively for men.
- Assessment and Rehabilitation service focused on addressing the complex mental health needs and personality disorders of women.
- Specialist inpatient service catering to the comprehensive mental health and physical needs of men.
- Low secure setting tailored for men with mental health illnesses, with or without personality disorders or mild learning disabilities.

**Skills required**:

- HCPC Registered
- RCSLT Membership
- Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Experience in delivering group or individual based interventions.
- Leadership and service management skills
- Training and education skills
