Hospitality Trainer

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a passionate, credible, and dynamic person to join the People Team at McMullen’s. The role of Hospitality Trainer encompasses both the delivery of training in site, centrally at our Management Training Centre plus the administration of training and people tasks at our head office in Hertford. You will need to love juggling multiple tasks, one day you may be opening a new pub, on another you’ll be planning a reward day, and another you’ll running training reports and answering training queries from sites. It’s a fun and also demanding role - in which you’ll never be bored

Previous experience of running group training sessions within a hospitality or retail environment is essential.

Hospitality Trainer

**The Role**:
To be the face of training and the learning process at Macs and the first point of contact
Coordinating the GROW training programme from day one induction to exit
Conducting in house service and product training, and centrally held training sessions, with a particular focus on new openings
Produce training assets for the business including video, print, and e-learning when required
Managing the LMS on a daily basis
Assist with the organisation of Team Member of the Year, Assistant Manager event and other company competitions

You will need to have excellent Microsoft skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will be enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated with exceptional organisational skills. A training qualification is preferred, however further training can be provided once in role through either the CIPD or apprenticeship route.

Weekend and evening work is part of the role and a full driving license is required.

£28,000 - £35,000 dependent on previous training experience
