**DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for experienced **CNC Machinist** to join our team specialising in **Manufacturing** for our **Operations Support** department in **Huddersfield, United Kingdom**.

**Join Us as a CNC Machinist at Cummins**

**Location**: Huddersfield, United Kingdom

**Contract**: 12 Month Fixed Term

**Salary**: £35,000 + 30% shift allowance for night shift

**Working Hours**: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

**Shift Patterns**:

- **Days**: Monday to Friday - 7:30am-3pm
- **Nights**: Monday to Thursday - 10:15pm-7:30am

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set, operate, and maintain CNC lathes, Millers, and Grinders.
- Adjust tool offsets and datums for precision machining.
- Perform meticulous inspections using CMM machines and attribute gauges.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Qualifications**:

- Strong initiative with a drive to tackle challenges proactively.
- Proven communication skills and ability to conduct high-level training.
- Accountability in meeting commitments and promoting team goals.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Apprenticeship-trained CNC machinists are preferred.
- Experience in CNC grinding, CMM operation, and Robot/Cobot is beneficial.
