Finance Analyst Inside IR35

Contract Term:12 Months

Location: Hybrid area London

We are currently creating a pipeline for an upcoming opportunity as a Finance Analyst with the National Crime Agency on a hybrid basis in the London area.
**As a Finance Analyst your main responsibilities would be to**:

- Running bid competitions, service transition and contract exit projects.
- Cost and Benefits Modelling (with inputs from the Client and Strategic Partner) for peer review, including budget impact assessments and linkage to Finance system hierarchies.
- Integrating and developing appropriate costing models, whilst ensuring alignment to system and corporate reporting structures.
- Development of contract bridging strategies and alignment with supply chain transformation programme and in accordance with Client governance.
- Challenging supplier costing methodologies and pricing.
- Maintaining integration with core finance, Commercial and Technology teams.
- Reporting of programme finances, benefits and resources in line with relevant programme governance arrangements.
- Training of Finance, Change and ES staff on modelling and commercial finances aspects
**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Experienced in different procurement methodologies and the contractual negotiation process
- Analytical with a long history of developing and operating complex models.
- Awareness across the complete procurement lifecycle
- Experienced at developing contract pricing solutions which balance technical and financial concerns.
- Used to managing conflict between interested parties engaged with the programme or project.
- Adept at work in Microsoft Excel
Used to managing budgets and reporting progress promptly and accurately.
- Experienced at preparing for and managing a range of project reviews and governance boards.
- Logical, thorough, organised and technically adept.
- Capable of communicating clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Stakeholder management
- Advanced excel skills
- Resilient with the ability to work at speed in a fast-paced environment
- Public Sector experience is highly desirable
