We operate in The Meon Valley and surrounding areas (SO32, PO17). We offer an enhancedhourly rate, so you can earn up to £15 per hour if you choose to work weekends or bank holidays.

Lapis carers understand the individual needs of the client and are friendly and approachable. We need our carers to be responsive to the changing needs of individuals and have initiative & self-motivation to be able to see can 'the bigger picture'.

Your daily routine will include (but not limited to):

- Personal care duties
- Assistance with medication
- Light housework
- Food preparation
- Social outings, emotional support and appointments

Full and ongoing training will be given to provide you with the skills to work effectively and efficiently. We want you to be able to problem solve, think on your feet and take the lead if required. When you are on duty you are never without the supportof your colleagues and managers for the duration of your shift.

We would welcome applicants with the following skills; Community Care Assistant, NVQ, QCF, Level 2, Personal Care, Housework, Domestic Care, Food Preparation, Meal Preparation, End-of-life Care, Communication, Dementia, Medication, Social Care, CommunityCare, Carer, Support Worker, Care Worker.

**Additional Information** Hours: 07:00-14:00 (12:00 if on split shift) 16:00-22:00, 7 days a week role includes, but not limited to personal care, medication, light domestic duties and meal preparation. Social and emotional support. Specialists in end-of-life and dementia care.

**Essential Skills**

**Desirable Skills**
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a care worker or as an unpaid Carer.
