Prestige Nursing and Care Edinburgh are recruiting for an experienced, reliable and caring Support Worker to support a male in the East Lothian area.

This role is working with a gent who has an acquired brain injury in his family home. You will provide personal care, social stimulation and support to meet the client’s needs.

Experience of working as a Support Worker or Complex Care Assistant is essential. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working with clients with challenging behaviour, the ability to maintain boundaries and follow set protocols. Most of all you will be driven, patient, have a calm approach and be comfortable working within a family home environment.

This role is initially part time working 8 hours per day, 3 days per week starting at 8.30 am, days of the week are negotiable and will be discussed further at interview

**What we are looking for**
- Previous experience of working in a support worker role with challenging behaviour
- Valid driving license and access to own transport is essential.
- Can provide 2 satisfactory references
- Be caring and compassionate, reliable and resilient
- Basic IT Skills (online learning and electronic record keeping)

**It is now a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK if you have lived outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 5 years.**
