**Job Title**: Stock Controller / Logistics Assistant

**Contract**: Full Time

**Salary**: starting at 24K

**Location**: Bristol, St Anne's Road

**Hours**: Full Time (40hrs per week)

**08.00 - 17.30hrs Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 15:00hrs Friday**

We design & manufacture a range of standard lighting, control products and custom special projects and solutions for our customers.

We are a small and proactive team of around 30 people with big ambitions so attitude is everything - you will be that positive person, organised, unflappable and cheerful. No two days will be the same in this role so the ability to multi-task working alongside the Logistics Manager.

**Main Tasks**
- Receipting stock from suppliers, matching physical stock to delivery notes and PO's, and reporting any anomalies.
- Locating all receipted components into relevant bin locations in warehouse
- Picking component stock for production department and monitoring physical stock levels.
- Receipting in finished stock from Production department,
- Booking consignments with couriers / shipping agencies dependant on customer order, size, location.
- Ensuring accurate / secure packing, and physical despatching of orders together with associated paperwork for consignments shipped worldwide.
- Stock checking and inventory management duties
- Working with the Logistics Manager in helping to improve procurement, stocking and logistics planning and execution.
- Liaise with the rest of the GDS team to drive success.
**Skills / Experience**
- Ideal role for someone looking to get involved in all logistical aspects of an SME manufacturing business.
- Initiative, adaptability and a willingness to learn essential for this role working in a fast moving, continually evolving business.
- Meticulous attention to detail is also a prerequisite to ensure the stock processes continue to operate effectively.
- Computer literate
- Able to demonstrate the use of a positive, can-do and organised mid set to delight colleagues and customers
