Arc Legal Group, an AmTrust International business, is a specialist provider of legal expenses insurance and related services. We work with insurers, intermediaries, financial institutions and affinity groups, focusing upon delivering bespoke solutions providing 'best in market' legal advice and case handling.

We are currently looking for an Operations Team Lead to join our team. This would be based in our Colchester on a hybrid model.

The role is to manage the team in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, so that the team’s business objectives are achieved consistently.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Assist with the preparation of premium reconciliations and weekly and monthly Claims MI
- Act as the first point of escalation for team queries and the Finance department and aim to resolve within SLAs.
- Provide support to the Premium and Credit Control team, and other departments with regards to any premium related queries and information requests
- Review and approve adjustments and invoices
- Approve payments via online banking within a set authority limits
- Monitor effectiveness of controls to ensure compliance of all team activity with business and legal requirements, adapting and amending in line with future changes
- Use technical knowledge and analytical skills to investigate all issues escalated by the team, communicating with appropriate key stakeholders to ensure an agreed resolution and make recommendations to prevent future reoccurrence
