This is a great opportunity if you have some previous experience within a finance department and are looking to expand your knowledge.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The role is office-based, set within our English Language school, just 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Canterbury.

**What’s the role?**

Stafford House Study Holidays welcome large groups of international students each summer to stay, learn and have fun at our seven schools, across the UK.

Our summer months are very busy and are the key operating time for our schools. During summer, you’ll produce and log invoices for our students, liaising with our reservations team to raise and manage invoicing and reconciliations. You'll also work with our summer school teams to ensure each of our school's petty cash and credit card transactions are kept up to date and reconciled each week and hold weekly check ins with our Centre Directors.

Outside of summer (September - March), you may be involved in supporting our other schools remotely, therefore you will need to remain flexible with duties to support our year-round operation.

**What you’ll need to make a success of the role**:

- A keen eye for detail and have friendly and confident communication skills
- Experience of raising and managing invoices and reconciliations is highly desirable
- Confident to learn our in-house accounting system, facilitating the raising of invoices
- Be flexible with your duties as the needs of the business change throughout the year
