Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a reputable Manufacturing company based in Radstock. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
**£35,000 - £45,000 plus excellent benefits including hybrid remote working**

**Role responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Preparation of monthly P&L accounts for multiple divisions of the company, including commentaries to senior management
- Preparation of gross margin reports for multiple divisions of the company
- Preparation of sales rebate calculations and ensuring these are correctly reflected in the general ledger
- Preparation of assigned balance sheet control account reconciliations and follow up of any emergent issues
- Overall responsibility for all stock valuation at the site and other divisions across the group including ensuring adequate provision is made for slow moving/obsolete stock
- Ensuring VAT is accounted and provided for correctly, that VAT returns are prepared correctly and submitted on time, and that VAT is paid to or received from HMRC on time
- Support the statutory year end audit where applicable to ensure the audit timetable is achieved

**Person specification**:

- Strong end to end management accounting experience and ideally exposure to stock
- Able to interact effectively with other departments to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Good time management skills to consistently meet accounting timetables
- Intermediate level Excel - lookups/pivot tables
