**Functional Skills tutors needed**
- Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible working at a great hourly rate?Are you a retired teacher looking for a change? Just passed your PGCE and want to gain experience? Passionate about education and pupil attainment?_

We are working with Dorset local authority to provide 1:1 tuition in Functional Skills. For a variety of pupils, including and not limited to those with additional needs.

Tuition will take place at home, during school hours.

Locations include Christchurch, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Poole, Bridport, Blandford, Dorchester, Ferndown, Fordingbridge, Wareham, Wimborne, Portland, Shaftesbury and Swanage

**The role**:

- Providing 1:1 support for Functional Skills
- Planning individualised programmes of learning and intervention initiatives
- Tutoring within the **home environment**:

- Tailoring your approach so children learn and progress at their own pace

**What you'll need to succeed**
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
- Endless enthusiasm and patience
- Experience working with secondary aged pupils
- Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)

**What you will get in return**
- £25p/h (PAYE)
