**Job Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and support to our customers while contributing to a positive team environment. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
- Be the **face of Greggs**, greeting customers, working tills, serving behind the hot counter, and preparing fresh food (sandwiches, pastries, bakes) to high standards.
- Handle tasks like managing ovens, restocking, and keeping the shop clean and inviting.
- Training is fully provided—no prior retail or food experience required.
**Duties**
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Assist in supervising daily activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Analyse customer feedback and contribute ideas for improving service quality.
- Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
- Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
- Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
- Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
- Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
**Skills**
- Excellent organisational skills, allowing for efficient task management in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and colleagues.
