**Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician / Handyman / Handywoman looking for a new challenge? If so, this could be the right role for you** **Due to continued success and growth, Signature Properties is now recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join the team in the HQ in Fareham.** **About the role**: As our Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs to rental property as needed during occupancy of units as well as perform cleaning and repairs to property in-between tenants ie. Getting the properties ready in time for them to be re-let in good condition. Other duties include: - Perform house/unit renovations & upgrades as directed and required. - Liaising with tenants to gain access for repairs. - Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of properties including painting, plumbing, carpentry etc. - Cleaning internal/external properties. - Garden maintenance. - Respond to emergency calls after hours, on a pro-rata basis. - Be able to prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner - Perform routine inspections of the property to check for maintenance problems. - Complete daily work order system. - Keep track of expenditure and receipts for items purchased for jobs. - Work using your own initiative and as part of an existing team when required. **Could this be the ideal role for me?** As our Maintenance Technician, you will have experience in general maintenance experience, be a good "all-rounder" and have "multi Skilled" experience and expertise. Experience with electrics / plumbing / carpentry etc. would be desirable. You will also have the following skills and attributes: - Hold a full, clean UK driving licence (Van provided for work purposes) - Good organisation, communication and timekeeping skills - Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure - High standards with good attention to detail - Our properties are based across the South Coast and our HQ is based in Fareham where you will be required to attend a weekly meeting. **Salary** A competitive salary of up to £30,000 DOE + Incentives + company van Hours Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Benefits include - 31 days annual leave per year, including a day off for your birthday - Company Pension Scheme - Generous Food Allowance at Skylark Golf & Country Club - Private Health Care - Netflix Vouchers - Friday beers at our onsite cocktail bar - + many more At Signature Properties we offer the chance to work in a friendly team and in a business that values its people and their contribution, whilst recognising and rewarding their success.
