**Join our team as Community Engagement Project Officer (UCAN)**
Are you driven by the desire to make a difference in local communities? We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate Community Engagement Project Officer to support our UCAN initiative. This role offers the chance to work directly with residents, helping them access opportunities, build confidence, and improve their quality of life.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement outreach strategies to engage priority groups within the community
- Build trusted relationships with residents, partners, and local organisations
- Organise and lead community-based activities, events, and initiatives that promote inclusion and wellbeing
- Provide tailored support to individuals, helping them navigate services, training, and employment pathways
- Track progress and outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement and effective delivery
**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and speak clearly and respectfully
- Experience in community engagement, outreach, or project delivery
- Excellent organisational skills and a solution-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
