**Position Summary**:
We have an opportunity for a Senior Digital Media Planner to join our Consumer business and work across our brands in the UK and Northern Europe.
This is an exciting role that will have a real impact on our marketing activity, shaping our campaigns across Paid, owned and earned media and delivering outstanding campaigns to our consumers. An in depth understanding of Paid media is required along with experience of brining Paid together with Owned and Earned.
The objective of this role is to plan and execute campaigns in conjunction with Paid media, planning the end-to-end campaign consumer journeys across digital channels. An understanding of other ATL, BTL and offline channels such as retail is also important and required as consumers are also influenced across those channels as part of integrated campaigns but importantly, retail and ecommerce is the end point where consumer purchase J&J’s products.
We are looking for a creative individual that can strategically plan and develop a central campaign creative idea to work across a plethora of consumer touch points (own websites, social channels, content, influencers partnerships, ecommerce etc).
Working closely with our hardworking brand marketing and sales team and media partners to deliver effective and efficient campaigns which build our brands and drive return on investment in-year.
**Principle Responsibilities**:
- Be the single point of contact that connects the squads and CXO teams and is responsible for delivering activation across POEM (Paid Owned and Earned Media).
- Ensure brand activations ladder up to the overall brands strategy and experiences across the PTP
- Collaborate with the agency teams (media, creative, Influence, digital) to deliver effective and exceptional brand experiences
- Be responsible for enhancing activation best practices by leading, directing, evaluating & enabling
- Identify new media & tech innovation pipeline in partnership with the wider CXO team
- Foster partnerships with media platforms, J&J global and regional teams to elevate digital creative and accelerate learnings to improve media effectiveness and efficiency
- Foster strong global media agency & digital/tech partner relationships in collaboration with e-commerce, IT, procurement and rest of the digital & media team
- Collaborate with CBI teams in the delivery of Market intelligence to support campaign planning (Category and consumer insights)
- Analysing MMM and brand health reports to understand how we should be allocating annual budgets across the portfolio
- Take the lead when in comes to the deployment on marcomms process to ensure that the brand teams adhere to our brand building principles
- Facilitate E2E journey-based planning underpinned by J&J path to purchase
- Support brand teams and agency partners on the delivery of the ‘always on’ content across the path to purchase in order to deliver omni-channel experiences
- Coordinate support across the CXO teams (precision, e-commerce, PR & Influencer) to ensure we deliver holistic campaigns that drive business growth
- Support the brand teams in defining the integrated comms brief and ensure all the key strategic inputs (business, brand, consumer, content) are considered as part of the strategic response and delivery of the activation plan
- Work closely with the performance team in defining brands audience strategy (audience development, syndication, and optimization)
- Represent J&J across the relevant ISBA steering committees; attending relevant meetings and connecting with peers, extending my network to identify new trends, opportunities and threats
