**Nursing Associate - Full Time (37.5 hours per week)** We have a brand new and exciting Nursing Associate opportunity to join our team at our dedicated neurological care centre based in Hertfordshire. The Dean is an incredibly rewarding place to work Some of the people we care for have complex rehabilitation needs that require 24-hour support. Our excellent multi-disciplinary team includes Nurses, Care Staff, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language and Occupational Therapists All staff working in CQC regulated facilities must be double vaccinated against Covid-19 unless medically exempt. To comply with this regulation, you will be asked to provide evidence of your vaccine status to attend an interview. **The Role** The Nursing Associate will work as part of our multi professional team supporting Registered Nurses to deliver high quality, person-centred, compassionate care to residents. **Your role will include**: - To assess, plan, implement, evaluate and provide high quality nursing care - Communicate effectively with residents, carers, relatives and all members of the multidisciplinary team - Take on responsibility for personal development and support the development and supervision of others by developing and maintaining specialist knowledge - Contribute towards the continuing development of professional nursing practice in the clinical area - Work proactively to ensure that every resident attendance meets the resident’s expectations and needs with timely undertaking of procedure and effective communication with relatives, residents and carers. - Respond to emergency situations with composure, maintaining resident safety and seeking immediate support, supporting the resident, family and other staff as required - To communicate effectively with residents and carers potentially complex, sensitive or distressing information. Some residents may have communication, perceptual or cognitive/understanding difficulties. - To maintain clear, accurate and concise clinical records in line with Ramsay Health Care UK and professional standards and include relevant outcome measures. - Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality at all times Professional practice. - Ensure clinical practice is evidence based or peer reviewed “best practice” - Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to deliver and evidence based service. - Report near misses and untoward incidents, complaints, clinical emergencies, injury or medicine administration errors as detailed in Ramsay Health Care UK policies. - To consolidate and learn new skills and competencies to provide holistic care. To develop clinical reasoning and treatment techniques through the active participation in training and development.
