We have a great opportunity for a**Logistics & Warehouse Assistant** to join our team, based in **Mansfield.**You will support the distribution of customer orders and deliveries to our top 20 customers. To ensure this is delivered the role will review, allocate and schedule the jobs to maximize the operational and logístical performanceof the fleet. Previous experience in a similar role is not essential, we are looking for a proactive, customer focused person willing to learn and progress. Your background could be retail, warehousing, customer service or in driving its self.

This role is a permanent full time position working **42 hours a week, on a shift pattern at times to be agreed between 6.30am-5pm.**

The role will support the distribution of customer orders, deliveries and branch replenishment. To ensure this is delivered through reviewing, allocating and scheduling the jobs to maximize the operational and logístical performance of the fleet. Build andmaintain successful working relationships with customers, colleagues, business partners and external providers to maximize customer service and logistics efficiency.

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required**
- Strong Numeracy and Literacy
- Good administration and customer service skills, confident telephone manner
- Ability to work on own initiative, as well as being a team player
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
- PC confident
- Ability to work in a fast paced pressured environment
- Good communication skills
- A flexible and positive attitude with the ability to 'make things happen' is a must
- 10- 20% of your time will be spent within the warehouse, a willingness to learn and become qualified to drive a fork lift is desirable
