We are looking for a full time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Orchard Way pharmacy in Banbury.

This role is 40 hours per week, the exact working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (with 1 hour dinner) and Saturdays on a rota basis.

The role will include:

- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
- To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
- Be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
- Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience
- Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

We are looking for a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, highly organised and be passionate about helping people.

Salary for all positions is dependent on previous experience.
