**Junior 3D BIM Architectural Modeller - Competitive Salary - Manchester** **The Role Do you possess previous AutoCAD and drawing production experience within the MEP industry? Are you IT literate, with a good technical understanding of Navisworks, Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. SPIE UK, a smart engineering and technology-driven solutions provider for the built environment, are looking to appoint a Junior 3D BIM Architectural Modeller to provide design modelling and drawing production to various SPIE EE and MSS clean rooms, Pharmaceutical& medical device production and research facilities, process production plants and general buildings. **Key Responsibilities** The key responsibilities of a Junior 3D BIM Architectural Modeller include, but are not limited to: - To produce detailed drawings from the coordinated model. - Modelling of all cleanroom components; walls, ceilings + hanger arrangements, doors, vision panels, coving, trims, skirtings, FF&E. - To produce technical documents and schedules to support your design and procurement. - Add COBie data to your Revit model so all technical information is stored in the Common Data Environment. - Issue completed packages of drawings to the responsible design engineer / project manager for QA. Issue final status design packages with the relevant document issue sheet to clients and their document management systems. - Attendance to design and coordination meetings at the client’s site. - To refine existing file storage and sharing procedures to enable the most efficient design package productivity and collaboration. - Report to the design manager on production progress and deliverables, updating drawing production schedules as a reporting tool. **The Person The key skills and qualities of Junior 3D BIM Architectural Modeller are: - Experience with AutoCAD and drawing production within the MEP industry - IT literate with a technical understanding of IT packages relevant to the role, mainly, Navisworks, Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD - Able to work in Autodesk BIM360 and share / consume federated models - Understanding of model federation and being able to separate and show the necessary components from other models on your drawings - Walls; Metsec + plasterboard, composite panel, stud - Ceilings: lay in grid, metal tile, plank, walk on composite panel, Metsec plasterboard - Flooring; Vinyl, rubber, Epoxy resin, Epoxy paint, carpet - FF&E; stepover benches, lab benches, fume cupboards 1 - Doors: GRP, steel, powder coated, drop seal, roller - Vision panels: flush, semi-flush, single / double glazed - Experience with cleanroom architectural modelling would be an advantage (Desirable) - Experience within F&B / Pharma / healthcare sectors (Desirable) **The Company SPIE UK is a smart engineering and technology-driven solutions provider for the built environment.
