**Yard Worker (Scrap Yard)**

We’re a family run, bustling scrap yard in the centre of Sheffield and currently in need of a temporary yard labourer, this could turn into a permanent role if you’re the right fit. Our working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, with the occasional opportunity for overtime. All training required will be provided, however some experience would be preferred.

Your responsibilities would include:

- Keeping the yard clean and tidy
- Liaising with customers and helping them unload their vehicles
- Using our scales and weigh bridge to weigh the customers metal
- Assisting with loading our incoming and outgoing lorry deliveries
- Driving the fork truck to manoeuvre metal and other items
- Sorting through metal
- Using the granulator to process metal
- Processing metals using other methods/machines

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 2 months
