With a large professional community of technical experts, we’ll be looking for you to lead for allour professional estate management across the Midlands and East of England region.

You'll be supporting the region of Midlands and East of England. You'll be expected to travel around the region on average 3 days a week, but you can be based at any hub most local to you, or work from home on for the remaining 2 days a week.

What you'll be doing In this senior leadership role, you’ll be primarily focused on leading and driving performance of estate management professional teams in the Midlands and East (MEE) region.

Reporting to the Land & Estates Director, you’ll be accountable for the management of all residential and commercial let property, partnering the regional management team on all aspects of estate and asset management, whilst recommending appropriate strategicapproaches to deliver the Trust’s strategic objectives.

As a leading practitioner in all aspects of estate management and rural surveying, you’ll provide consultancy expertise which has a significant impact both within the region, and nationally. You’ll work in close collaboration with the Head of Estate Management& Rural Surveying and their Asset Management Team to develop and implement relevant policies, instructions and guidance and along with region/country-wide strategies for performance improvement and development.

You’ll be accountable for developing our external reputation so that the Trust becomes regarded as the leading employer and practitioner in triple bottom line rural asset and estate management.

Who we're looking for We’re looking for someone who has:

- Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and rural surveying / estate management professional
- Expertise of land use, agriculture, asset management, land management, environmental issues, conservation and sustainable development
- Substantial post qualification practical experience working as a Chartered Surveyor in estate and asset management, including operating at a senior level
- Significant leadership and line management experience, working across wide geographical areas
- Demonstrable ability to analyse, interpret and resolve complex asset and estate management situations
